1946 - 2011

Marty Hurley was a former member of New Jersey’s Hawthorne Caballeros and Blessed Sacrament’s Golden Knights before performing for four years with the United States Air Force Band. During his tenure as percussion instructor and arranger with the Phantom Regiment, the corps placed in the top ten for fourteen years at D.C.I. finals competition.  At the 2002 Percussive Arts Society International Convention, Marty was a featured soloist on the Drummer’s Heritage Concert. For the past 32 years, Marty had been the Director of Bands at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. His music is published by Row-Loff Productions.
